Discovered by chance in 1968, the Stalactite Cave Nature Reserve is the largest stalactites/stalagmites cave in Israel.
Going inside feels like going into another planet and it's a great place to see how stalactites and stalagmites are formed and the various shapes they can take.
The tour takes about 20-30 minutes and it is definitely a must-do regardless of whether or not you are into geology.
It is a great activity for the whole family and kids are welcome.

Nested in the western slopes of the beautiful Judean Hills, driving to the cave is a treat in itself as you will see gorgeous sceneries at any time of the day.
